H-Wave Therapy
Overview
H-Wave Therapy is a non-invasive electrical stimulation treatment that enhances circulation, accelerates recovery and delivers lasting pain relief. Using low-frequency impulses, it targets deep and superficial tissues to promote cellular healing without fatigue.
What It Is
H-Wave Therapy activates sub-tetanic muscle contractions to boost blood flow, reduce inflammation, and improve neuromuscular function. It’s a drug-free option for managing chronic pain, aiding injury rehabilitation, and enhancing mobility.
How It Works
Gentle Muscle Activation: Stimulates muscles without fatigue.
Enhanced Circulation: Improves blood flow and oxygen delivery.
Pain Modulation: Blocks pain signals and triggers endorphin release.
Neuromuscular Re-Education: Supports nerve function restoration.
Benefits
Reduces acute and chronic pain.
Speeds up tissue repair and recovery.
Offers a non-invasive, drug-free solution.
Effective for conditions like arthritis, neuropathy, and chronic inflammation.
What to Expect
Your session starts with a personalized evaluation. Sessions last 20 to 40 minutes, and many patients experience immediate relief with minimal side effects.
Experience a safe, effective path to pain relief and recovery with H-Wave Therapy.
Your Questions, Answered
-
H-Wave is an electrical stimulation device that uses a unique waveform specifically designed to reduce pain and improve circulation. The key difference from a standard TENS unit is when the benefit occurs: TENS primarily masks pain while the device is in use — once you turn it off, the effect largely stops. H-Wave works differently, producing changes in tissue circulation and nerve activity that continue long after the session ends. Patients often report sustained relief that carries into the following day.
-
H-Wave is effective for chronic pain, soft tissue injuries, nerve-related pain, post-surgical recovery, and circulation problems. It is commonly used for patients who have pain that limits sleep or daily activity and need relief that extends beyond what an in-office visit alone provides.
-
H-Wave is non-invasive and has a strong safety record. Most patients experience no side effects. It should not be used by individuals with implanted cardiac devices or pacemakers, or during pregnancy without provider guidance.

At this time, we use H-Wave exclusively in-office at Peak Performance. Your provider will integrate it into your treatment visits where appropriate.
